History of company

Frontier Spinning Mills is a privately owned company founded in December 1996 by George Perkins. In June of 2000 the company merged with Mayo Yarns to become the second largest cotton spinner in the USA. Frontier Spinning currently operates (7) manufacturing sites with a weekly production of approximately 10 million pounds per week. Our product line includes 100% karded cotton, poly/cotton, greige heathers, and Air Jets yarns in a wide variety of yarn counts and blends. Frontier's quality begins with the selection of cotton and fiber that is chosen to achieve the best possible results for our customer's processes and end uses. These raw materials are processed in facilities that are equipped with the most modern spinning equipment currently available to market and interfaced with state-of-the-art automation and robotics. This technology is applied by highly skilled and trained technicians to produce the worlds finest spun yarns. Logistically, all of our manufacturing facilities are located with easy and convenient access to major ports and highways.
